Some private university charges high tuition fees from students.Even students have to pay for their toilet using in the bill format of miscellaneous charge.
Here is a model of a tuition fee:
per credit 3300 BDT
Annual activity fee 13000 BDT
Science lab fee 1500 BDT( IF HE IS A STUDENT OF SCIENCE FACULTY)
Computer lab fee 2000 BDT
Language lab fee 2000 BDT
Miscellaneous fee 1500 BDT
Now we see that if a student register for 12 credit he has to pay 50000 BDT per semester.of
It's a model of tuition fees
This is a question that, what is miscellaneous charge??
Is it the bill for their toilet using??
Are they charging fees for right reason????

Education system in private universities of bangladesh
In 1992 to promote higher education in Bangladesh government passed private university act.It was a vision for accommodate students to get higher education.
But are we getting higher education in it's fullest sense? This a big question to the students of private university university.
If we look at the examination system, mark distribution and class timing of private universities it will be clear to us, what are we getting really in the form of so called higher education provided by private universities.
An important point is the teachers qualification along with their academic excellence and research and their ability to give their best to their students.The grading system is horrible in some universities.Most of the so called private university do not follow the grading system of University Grants Commission-(UGC). The grading system is totally different in public and private universities.
Some universities takes exams in dividing two part of the total mark.But East West University is different.There students are supposed to sit three times for exam in a semester:1st mid-term, 2nd mid term, and final term.In a semester in each subject students have to sit for three quizzes. Totally in each subject a student has six exams and at least one presentation.In each subject the class limit is 24.After every 7class students have to sit for an exam.Class duration is 90mins.
Is it possible to compress the knowledge of a subject in a student's brain??
It is university,the place,where we get higher education, not the compression of knowledge.
